Shipping & Returns
SHIPPING TIMEFRAMES
All items (excluding pre-orders) will be dispatched within 1 business day of your order.
North Island (non-rural) – Delivery normally takes 1-2 business days after dispatch.
South Island (non-rural) – Delivery normally takes 2-3 business days after dispatch.
New Zealand (rural) – Delivery normally takes between 2-5 business days after dispatch.
SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping is FREE WITHIN NZ for all orders over $99 including rural addresses.
For orders under $99 NZD, delivery to New Zealand is charged at a flat-rate of $5 NZD.
Please note we do not ship to PO Boxes so please provide a physical address during checkout.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We can send some items internationally. If you are based outside of New Zealand and wishing to make a purchase, please email us at elephantkids.co.nz@gmail.com with details of the items that you wish to purchase and your location and we can advise shipping costs for you.
DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS.
We ensure our goods are of the highest quality and we are confident that all items purchased from us are in perfect order, however in the rare occurrence that you receive a damaged or faulty item please contact us immediately via email elephantkids.co.nz@gmail.com. We will provide a full refund, store credit or an exchange (if we have a replacement in stock) once we have received the returned item. Please note products must be returned to us within 14 days of the purchase and must be returned in the same condition as received with all labels etc. returned with the item.
EXCHANGE POLICY.
We make every effort to make sure our product descriptions are as detailed as possible and that includes sizing and colour guides for our clothing type product. If you have a question about sizing then please feel free to contact us at elephantkids.co.nz@gmail.com prior to making your purchase – we are happy to help.
If you do need to exchange or return an item, the item must be returned to Elephant Kids Store within 14 days of the purchase date. It must be unwashed, unworn and in original condition (this includes all original tags and packaging ). This does not mean you cannot try it on for size! Upon inspecting the returned item, we will then gladly credit your payment, or provide you with a store credit. If the returned item was on sale, refund is provided in the form of a store credit only. Alternatively, you can make an exchange for an item of the same value. See below for more details on sale items.
Return items that have been worn, damaged or altered from their original state will not be exchanged or refunded and will be returned to the customer.
We regret that we are unable to refund shipping and handling costs, unless the item was faulty or not as ordered.
Items purchased as Christmas gifts may be returned for store credit or exchange within 14 days of Christmas day, subject to the above conditions.
SALE ITEMS
We offer exchange or store credit only on sale items unless the item is deemed faulty.
Store credits are issued in the form of online gift certificates that can be used toward future purchases.
EXCHANGES.
When exchanging for a "change of mind", a $5 re-delivery charge will be applied. If you have indicated to exchange for an item that is sold out or that is delayed, we will notify you of the situation via email. It would be helpful if you can also indicate an alternate style, in case we cannot fill your first choice.
Refunds and exchanges are processed within 1-3 days of receiving the goods at the store.
Please remember to include with the return the original order details such as the order number, name, postal address and phone number.
